Moonweaver Bat Necklace - Obsidian & Moonstone

A necklace inspired by my love for the beautiful & creepy creatures silhouetted against the moonlight who take flight with fairies and spread whimsy and delight.

Designed with an Obsidian moon crystal, adorned with a bat, and made complete with a tiny moonstone crystal. 

Bats, often misunderstood, symbolize that no matter how dark life gets sometimes there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Generally seen as a good omen in most cultures they represent long life, good health, financial security, and peace. Worn as a talisman they can help with letting go of an old way of thinking or facing fears.

The pendant is approximately 1.25" wide x 1.5" long. 

Each piece of Stellar Fae Jewelry comes in a gift box and to help preserve the finish of your piece you will also receive a polishing cloth and an extra storage bag with an anti-tarnish strip to store your jewelry in. 

I am a small-batch creator. My copper electroformed jewelry is created in an intricate and lengthy process of fusing copper with low-voltage electricity. Creating a piece has several stages, and the whole process can take over a week to finish. The final creation is oxidized, polished, and then given a coating that allows the finish to last longer. 

Please keep your jewelry and its protective coating dry in order to keep it in its best condition. The protective coating is resistant but not eternal. Without a protective coating, sweat and other things like soap and lotions can react with the copper to turn your skin green and oxidize the copper. You can polish it with a little lemon juice and a soft cloth and then coat it with nail polish to return it to its original look.
